Strategic Planning

The development of a direction for the school over the medium and long term underpins the basis for all school improvement. Boards are required to establish and implement a plan that articulates a vision for the school. The strategic plan, supported by annual plans, identifies various initiatives from school review and community consultation and translates these into clear aims and achievable outcomes.

Package 1

This consists of a presentation to the principal or board of a model for strategic planning that encompasses all aspects of school operations.

Package 2

This presents a process through which strategic and annual planning can be based. Templates of these plans are provided and boards supported in their development of a school-based model. It enables the consultant to oversee the school’s document development.
