National Standards

National Standards in reading, writing and mathematics is aimed to increase a school’s focus on the teaching and learning of these core areas. It is intended to strengthen educational partnerships with parents and create a consistency of expectation among school stakeholders. Assessing achievement and progress over time against these standards assists in identifying and supporting those students not achieving.
