Board of Trustee Training

Understanding the components and relationships of governance and management is fundamental to strong school leadership. This training is designed to provide guidance and support to new and existing trustees. It will focus on trustees’ contribution to the functional welfare of the school and identify their various roles and responsibilities.

Package 1

This is a refresher workshop for existing boards / trustees. A comprehensive school specific “Governance Guidelines” is presented to the school at the completion of the training.

Package 2 

This is an induction programme for new boards / trustees, and may be convened over two separate meetings. A comprehensive school specific set of “Governance Guidelines” is presented to the school at the completion of the training.
