Director – GAME! consultancy

The key purpose of GAME! consultancy is to support and develop leadership capacity in primary and secondary schools in the wider Wellington region.  As an experienced principal, leadership adviser and education reviewer I have the skills and knowledge to work in-depth and institution wide to professionally develop personnel who are leading, or intending to lead, school or ECE improvement initiatives.

Through the support of GAME! Consultancy, principals and boards are better able to implement high quality governance, administration and management practices. A leadership capability is developed and supported that focuses on the enhancement of students’ educational achievement and engagement. Through GAME! Consultancy education leaders achieve improved skill levels and confidence to enable them to foster strong professional and connected learning communities. Effective relationships between and among staff and their school are increased and teaching and learning cultures that best provide effective educational outcomes for all students are promoted.

Most assistance to school leaders is given through instigating and/or supporting individualised school-based learning projects involving opportunities for:

– coaching, mentoring, observing and providing feedback, and critical reflection;
– organising inservice training targeted at specific and identified development needs;
– distance communication (advice, guidance and feedback); and
– distribution of educational research articles and development resources.
